About Me

I have spent over a decade working at the intersection of sustainability, technology and community impact. My journey began when I served as a Young Global Poverty Ambassador for the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), raising awareness in schools and community spaces. That experience showed me the power of collective action and inspired me to dedicate my career to creating positive change.

When the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) replaced the MDGs, I joined and helped organise the Climate Coalition movement leading up to COP21. I spoke at the SDG Climate Conference and was honoured to receive a Peace Ambassador Award for my commitment to climate and community work. I also volunteered locally — from two years as a Gateway Assessor at Citizens Advice Bureau to supporting homeless charities and community cohesion projects — and received a Mayor’s Award from Gravesham for these contributions.

Over time, I transitioned into technology to become a full stack developer because I wanted to build solutions as well as advocate for them. Since then, I have worked mostly with purpose-driven companies such as GreenKode, Scope My Bin, Limetrack and Loopi, and participated in multiple innovation incubators and accelerators including Launchpad, DMS Accelerator, Carbon13, Sustainable Ventures and Startup Discovery School.

These experiences have strengthened my skills in project management, digital innovation and stakeholder engagement. I am passionate about working with forward-thinking organisations to deliver technology and sustainability solutions that create measurable impact.

My retrofit journey began when I joined a retrofit incubator, where I had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the challenges the industry faces. This led me to work in the sector and qualify as a Retrofit Assessor (RA Level 3, CertDEA, AwardEEOTB), giving me hands-on experience in domestic energy assessments and a deep understanding of the PAS 2035 compliance process. I have also recently completed my Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator diploma. These experiences directly inspired me to found RetroSet, a software tool designed to help retrofit coordinators manage projects more efficiently and reduce compliance risk.

I aim to keep growing — as a developer, leader and human being — while helping build a more sustainable and equitable future.
